Chris craft antique club i USA gav mig den här informationen

Dear Mr. Johannesson,

Let us tell you a little bit about our organization. It is a 2700-2800
individual membership organization whose primary focus is on Chris Craft
and whose purpose is to keep folks from having to reinvent the wheel when
it comes to maintaining or restoring a vintage boat. We offer a group
insurance program and issue a quarterly publication called The Brass Bell
in which we advertise free for our members. Dues are only $25.00 per year.

Send us your mailing address and we'll send you membership information.

The Hull number VBA is a postwar configuration of hull numbers. "V" tells
us that she is a Cavalier. There is some uncertainty in my mind as to the
meaning of the second letter but I believe that the "B" and the "A" mean
that she is a double-cabin, flybridge model with an aft cabin on a flush
deck.

The 36 indicates that the boat is 36 feet long and the "0012" indicates
that she was the 12th boat in the series to have been made in 1965. 45 of
this hull which is simply described as a yacht made in 1965. There were 35
more made the same year with the hull series beginning 2000 made in 1966
and 55 more with the hull series beginning 3000 in 1967. The "H" at the
end of the number indicates that she was made at the Holland, Michigan
plant which confirms what I mentioned in my earlier e-mail.

We do have sales brochures here on the 1965 Cavaliers and photocopies of
that material is another service which we furnish as a part of your
membership without additional charge unless you want the material in color.
That we have to obtain from the local copy shop and it averages about
$2.00 US for an 8 1/2 x 11 page.
