As you notice, I have different covers for e-books and paperbacks. There is a reason. The Double Focus idea is not mine. My publisher, Janus Books designed the paperback covers and added those huge letters at the cover top of the first two books. The problem is that prospective buyers believe that Double Focus is the title and look for the books under that name.

Being a former commercial artist and photographer I find it challenging to make my own covers for the e-books. The writer's advantage of the professional image producer is that he/she knows which part of the story might provide the best cover illustration. Against it, the writer might be blind for the promotional aspects. Cooperation is the solution, I guess.
