The response from our visitors proves I'm not the only one who thinks this LAN was great. One thing that was really appreciated was our low prices on Jolt, pizza, Raider and a lot of other things, cheaper than regular prices. The network was switched so there we're no problem with PL and there we're plenty of servers running so that wasn't a problem either. I copied almost 10GB without anyone getting PL. The only drawback was that we managed to hold the LAN during the hottest weekend of this summer. It was so hot some computers suffered from overheating. We cooled one down with ice and we had to put a 3D-card in the freezer. Another sad thing was that nobody seemed to care about the tournaments. The deadlines came and went and still some quakers hadn't even played their first match. I tried to at least get a final in the 1on1-cup but since there were no prices Kask refused to play. Since when are the prices the most important thing with tournaments? What about honor? The 2on2-tournament got to semifinals, but none of the clans there played their matches so we have no winner from FoM-LAN, only losers. Other than that the LAN was great. Since there were some great battles played it don't seems so important with tournaments, but isn't it more fun to play in a tournament than just a regular battle? We're already talking about holding a bigger LAN with much better organization, real prices (money, hardware) and approximately 1000 people. More about this later on.
