Attribution of Merit or Credit

A model front page will be developed by the Project Management Team (PMT) and submitted to the Steering Committee for approval. This model should include the logos of International IDEA, IFES, UN-EAD and UNDP. The names and logos of the four organizations will be clearly and equally visible on project documentation. Permission to use these logos is granted by International IDEA and IFES. Following an approval process through its structures, the United Nations will grant approval for use of its logo(s). Project documentation and promotional materials will clearly emphasize the importance of the EPIC partnership within the terms of this agreement. Financial and other support for the project from funders, contributors, and individuals will also be duly acknowledged. The final product will be freely available to and distributed by each organization according to their normal channels. Agreement on a reproduction policy will be determined by the Steering Committee in the latter stages of the project. The PMT will provide realistic options and recommendation for the Steering Committee. While recognising that the spirit of the product is non-commercial, the Steering Committee reserves the right to consider cost-recovery arrangements, as appropriate.
