Stena Line is a shipping company in Gothenburg with ferryboats going to Denmark, Norway and Germany. I worked on the ferryboats as hotel assistant travelling to Germany. My assignments were varied and could be welcoming the guests onboard, helping out in the staff restaurant, cleaning the cabins, helping out in the tax-free shop (cashier and cash account) etc.

1997- 1998

Hemkop in Gothenburg is a supermarket with approximately 25 employees. I started working in September 1997 as cashier. My assignments were cash accounting, packing up goods etc.

LOGOS Ljud och Bild Produktion AB
1995-1997

LOGOS is a company who fabricates CD-records and music cassettes and their turn over is about SEK 30 million per year. They have 24 employees working with administration and production. I started in 1994 with packaging of CD-records. In 1996 I was educated on the CD-producing machine and I became CD-operator. My assignments were producing CD-records, changing matrices, adjusting pressures on printer’s etc.

Liseberg is situated in Gothenburg and is Sweden’s most largely tourist attraction which has about 3 million of visitors every year and has 1000 employees. I worked here for one season as restaurant assistant during the summer 1996. My assignments were cooking products, cashier, cash accounting, cleaning etc.

Restaurant Bryggeriet AB is a chain of restaurants with three restaurants situated in Gothenburg and they have 40 employees. I worked here as dishwasher.

I worked here shorter terms extra as house painter and my assignments were painting houses, building scaffolds etc.

B&W is a chain of supermarkets in Sweden and they have restaurants as well. I worked here as restaurant assistant during the summer in 1990 and continued to work extra on the weekends for a year. My assignments were cooking, cleaning etc.
