The island of Mallorca

	The roads are narrow and the scenery is dramatic along the west side of the island.


	This is our rental car, a Renault 5. One day a bus squeezed this tiny car into a stone barrier when we were driving. On the other side of the barrier (it wasn't that high) there was about 150 meters straight down to the ocean.
	There are lots of wonderful beaches around the island with soft sand.
	The coastline on the west coast of the island is characterised by steep rocky shores.
	This giant cliff is called Formentor.
	This is the city of Cala Millor were we stayed.
